Important information about Centra and Humana Advantage plans for 2026
As many of you are aware, Centra is not in network with Humana Advantage plans in 2026.
Here are some important things you should know:
1.) January 1-March 31 is the Medicare Advantage Open Enrollment Period. During this time you may:
If you have a Humana Advantage plan and didn't change to a different plan during the Annual Enrollment Period, you still have options:

a)  choose a new advantage plan with another company. Make sure your medications are covered and your doctors are in network or
b)  return to Original Medicare and apply for a Medicare Supplement and a prescription drug plan.  You may, however, have to pass medical  underwriting to enroll in a supplement.

2.)  Rest assured that the Human Prescription drug plans and Humana Medicare Supplements are not affected by this decision. You may continue to use them in 2026 without problems.
3)  This is not a time for a do it yourself project...
it's complicated
a) Consult a local professional who know the local issues, not a 1-800 number
 b)  Be sure whoever you talk to can show you all the     plans available to you...not just one company.

c)  Brokers are not allowed to charge a fee for their services...their help comes at no cost to you.
